Amber was a stray cat who showed up with her kittens at the
house of a kind Feline Rescue volunteer, who kept them fed and eventually
managed to get them all trapped and brought inside.
First, kittens Joey, Sophie, and Emma were trapped. They are now in a foster home, where they are learning all about living in a house with people. They are still shy but making progress every day thanks to their patient caregiver. Joey leads the way, showing his sisters that it's OK to come out to play, to sit up high in the cat tree, and to beg for those delicious dried fish treats from his foster person.
Sophie, the calico who looks
like her mother except fluffier, is the smallest and shyest but also loves to play.
And sweet, little Emma was the first to learn that purring earns you
more pets from your foster dad. She is very sweet.
Momma Amber is a sweet, quiet cat. She likes to sit in laps. She purrs when you pet her and kneads in the air. Right now Amber is safe, warm, and well-fed at Woody's Pet Food Deli in St. Paul. Amber likes other cats and would love to find a home with another cat or could be adopted with one of her kittens.
