Update on the Tadpole Family: Ready for Forever Homes

Little "Tadpole", his mom, and four litter mates were live-trapped and rescued by Feline Rescue volunteers just after Thanksgiving.
Now called TomTom by his foster caregivers, this little black-and-white character is ready to find a forever home with his sister Lady Sybil. They are shy at first but very sweet. TomTom especially is a little purrbox. And these two love to play!

Two of  the Tadpoles already found their forever home. Sister Sylvie would like to find a home with her mom. They are shy but both such pretty tabbies!

If you'd like to hear more about this these kitties or to meet them in their foster home contact outreach@felinerescue.org.

Topsy and Turvy

A little cute kitten-ness to brighten up a winter day.

Not quite kitten season yet. Topsy and Turvy are early birds, received from an animal control facility a couple weeks ago.  These adorable brothers will be ready to find their forever homes in about a month.

Lucille Update

Zoe (fka Lucille) is looking very pretty and happy in her new home.

At first she was shy and reserved, but slowly she is starting to open up (and let me pick her up!)

First night (scared and nervous):

Now a bit more relaxed after a couple weeks in the apartment:

Keep doing what you're doing, it is a wonderful thing.

Best,
Mike

Another little family rescued from the cold

**Note, these are not Feline Rescue cats, but we're posting this as a courtesy to their rescuer because we want them to find great homes!

Murphy, Marie, and their mother Olive were recently rescued from the streets of St. Paul. They were spotted curled up together in a dried-up, heated birdbath one frigid morning. Their rescuers, some kind neighbors, have had the cats to the vet to be fixed up, so they are almost ready to go to their new forever homes.

Momma Olive is sweet, sweet, sweet! After being a stray, she's looking forward to getting back into the routine of being a regular house cat. She loves that her meals are provided now and she doesn't have to scrounge them up for the kids.

Kittens Murphy and Marie take their cues from Olive, so they are calm and turning into sweet kittens too. They will take a little extra kindness and patience in the beginning, as they are still shy.  These two are both adorable and couldn't look cuter together. They would like to be adopted as a pair. And if you'd like to take the whole beautiful, little family home, that would be OK too!

For more information about adopting Murphy and Marie and/or Olive email outreach@felinerescue.org.

Purry Valentine's Day!

An oldie but goodie of best buds Little Guy and Grouch.

Their photo was first featured on our blog 5 years ago. Little Guy and Groucho met as orphaned kittens in their foster home and found a forever home together.

Bonded Brothers

Brothers Atti and Boo were rescued as babies by Feline Rescue Outreach volunteers.  Although the boys were born outside, they don't remember anything about all that. They are happy house cats. But they need a home! Atti can tell you more:
Hi there! We are adorable young brothers looking for a home together. We love both to snuggle and to play rough with each other. We are about 10 months old.
Although we have literary names (Atticus and Boo), we don't know how to read.  We do like to snuggle with our people while they read or to pile into their bed at night. And we like to watch TV.  What little boys don't?
We will probably do best in a quieter home.  Although I'm an easy-going guy (I'm the one who lets my people dress me up in clothes after all...), my brother Boo is on the shyer side. We are both beautiful and on the fluffy side.

We hope that you'll call or email for more information about us!

New Friends Duncan and Merce

Duncan and Merce, fka Wylie and Prince, were adopted together from Feline Rescue's adoption center although at the time they had not met each other. Their family took the time to introduce them to each other slowly and now these handsome boys are great friends.

On Sept 16, 2012, we adopted "Wylie" and "Prince"; we renamed them Duncan and Merce respectively. At the time they had never met and we kept them separated for several weeks, gradually getting them used to each other and their new home. Merce is more active and often chases Duncan around, though Duncan is very intent about defending his food dish if Merce tries anything funny at mealtime. After a couple of months, they began grooming eachother as well as wrestling and now they usually sleep together.

Thanks for our charming housemates,
Cate

Violetta and Kittens

Violetta's foster family shared some new photos and information for Violetta and three of her four kittens who are still looking for their forever homes.

Juniper Sitting Pretty
Hi there! My name is Violetta. The nice people at Feline Rescue took me and my 4 kittens in from a bad situation. We're having a great time at our foster home, but we'd really like to find our forever homes soon! One of my kittens already went to a wonderful home where she is thriving. I would love to go home with my daughter Clover, and see my two boys go home together as well!

To tell you a little about myself, I am pretty young and very kittenish! I have lots of energy and love to play with my kids! I will jump up on your lap and if you pet me, I will purr as hard as I can to let you know how much I love it!

Pretty Violetta
My daughter, Clover, is a beautiful, petite little gal. She is so friendly and outgoing! She charms everyone she meets!

Clover being silly
Sweet Clover
I am also so proud of my boys, Cedar and Juniper. They tend to be a little shy but they are so sweet. Once they feel comfortable, they will run and play and have tons of fun! They are best buds and want to stick together.
