Kitten sisters Goldy, Lindy, and Laurel were rescued during the brutally cold winter of 2013-2014. They had found shelter under a shed and were lured out and live-trapped one at a time. After spending some time in a foster home, the girls were adopted. Here is another great update from Rosemary, who adopted all three of the sisters, now called Priere, Pujah, and Sala:
Everyone is doing fine. After reading a Feline Rescue newsletter I
decided something about Sala and why I'm so glad she got adopted with
her sisters. Sala remains afraid of many things but she is happy as she
can be in spite of everything. Although she won't approach me directly
she will hang out in the same room with me sometimes... I think she is as
happy and secure as she would ever be because she is with her sisters.
This past year I've done what I could to socialize her and I wondered
what else I could do, but I'm realizing now this is the way it's going
to be. She'll be with her sisters, and that's the best outcome for her,
and I'll do my best to give her a secure loving environment...
In spite of her past trauma and ongoing fears, I do believe she is where
she belongs. And I will always thank you for the joy I receive
everyday...
