It’s a fun, modern, easy way to support Feline Rescue. Last year, we raised over $11,000 in just 24 hours. Do you suppose we could triple that this year? All told last year, more than 42,000 donors logged on to GiveMN.org and gave over $10 million to Minnesota non-profits during Give to the Max Day. GiveMN’s Give to the Max Day amplifies your giving impact in a number of ways:

We Could Win a Golden Ticket! $1,000 will be given to a random donor’s charity every hour. You could be that donor! How do you do this? If you intend to donate $100 to Feline Rescue, donate $10 in each of 10 different hours. Or $20 in five different hours. Are you an early riser – or a night owl? Donate at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, or 6:00 AM. Why? Because there won’t be many donors at those hours – our random chances go up when you keep odd hours.

Put us on the Leader Board! $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 prize grants will be awarded to the top three nonprofit organizations (colleges and universities excluded) which receive the most dollars in 24 hours during Give to the Max Day.

Strange Bedfellows

The weather is getting much colder with snow on the way soon here in Minnesota.  And you know it's getting colder when cats that normally aren't in the same room together are found lounging together on the same bed.

$25,000 for Feline Rescue?

If you have a couple extra minutes today, you can help Feline Rescue Inc. of St. Paul, MN win at least $25,000 and up to $250,000.  The top 100 small charities at Chase Community Giving's Facebook application will receive $25,000.  That's a lot of spay/neuter surgeries, medical care, and kitty supplies.

Go to the Feline Rescue charity page and VOTE or go to the Chase Community Giving Facebook application, search for Feline Rescue St. Paul,  VOTE and then spread the word.

Apricot and Kiwi Update

Apricot and Kiwi, fka Snookie, are settling right in to their home. We received a great update and some gorgeous photos of these fun sisters who recently found a home together. They no longer have to share one big window at the shelter with a bunch of other kitties so it looks like they are really enjoying having their own views of the world.

Hello Feline Rescue,

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how things are going with Apricot and Kiwi, who I adopted on 10/27.

Things are going really well. They've settled in just fine... We are really enjoying having them in our lives. I'm so happy that Kiwi spoke up and called me over when we were there to look at other cats. Had she not done that, I wouldn't have had the chance to fall in love with them.
