Usually Feline Rescue kittens find their homes within one to three months once they are available for adoption. Sometimes it can take longer to find that perfect home. Carter and Allie had been looking for their forever home for almost a year before being adopted in November. But as you can see from the letter we received from Allie and the photo's from their mom, it was well worth the wait.
Wow, did we have a great Christmas! Mom brought us up to Grandma's for a week. Grandma has a whole house so we could run from the second floor all the way to the basement and then upstairs again! Carter was really great about catching cobwebs in the basement on his ears and whiskers and bringing them up to share with Mom. I could never get the technique down as good as he did. Mom gave us two new toys and lots of boxes and bags and wrapping and bows for Christmas. We also got to meet a new cat, Kissa ( it means cat in Finn, we are told). She acted like she didn't like us at all but Carter was sitting two feet away from her before we had to go back home.
I helped Mom decide to get rid of another of her plants today. She said it would be safer for the furniture. I am not sure exactly what she meant, but the plant almost got me (it almost landed on my head!) when I was playing with it.
Carter and I really hope you had a great Christmas and wish you a very Happy New Year! Mom says she is attaching some photos. She will probably send them in a couple of batches. (She says happy new year, too.)
Love,
Allie
