Valentine gave birth to her kittens in the first days of February 2011, outdoors in a little shelter/feeding station maintained by a kind woman at her apartment building.
I asked her for photos to share of the shelter/feeding station:
This is where Valentine gave birth.
Here you can see the food and water and a second shelter.
Valentine's kittens are getting bigger and more active all the time:
Chocolate was very insistent about giving a big kiss to his little sister Candy.
This photo is of the kittens shortly after I got them, probably less than two weeks old.
Here they are now! 4+ weeks old
Feline Rescue has a great need for additional foster caregivers, please contact Cathy at 651-230-3263 if you can help. To our surprise, given the long snowy winter, the birthing season has begun early and we can only help if we have foster homes.
ShelterChallenge.com is back! An easy way to help raise money for the kitties, VOTE daily for Feline Rescue. Help us win one of the top prizes ($7k, $5k, and $3k)! You can vote daily through May 5th.
