It has been a very busy week for, 4 ½ month old Patrice. Last week this beautiful little girl was found on the side of the road hurt and afraid. Thankfully a Feline Rescue volunteer found her and brought her in. Upon examination the vet found that Patrice had a broken femur and would need major surgery. After her surgery she was taken to her new foster home, where she is now resting comfortably. It will take some time for Patrice to recover, and her first few weeks following surgery will be spent on kennel rest, but she is doing very well!
Thankfully, Patrice was given a second chance at living a happy life. She is a very sweet girl, just looking at her makes her purr and scoot up against her kennel (she is not too good at walking on her hurt leg yet). She will also let you know when she wants to be pet by sticking her little paw out and gently pulling you to reach inside the kennel and pet her.
Please, If you can help with Patrice’s care, contact Cathy at 651-230-3263, visit www.felinerescue.org or click the "Donate" button just to the right of this post. Thank you.
Poor kitty! This is why it is absolutely crucial cats are not allowed to roam free outside. I'd love to find the driver who hit her and left her for dead too, they should definitely be punished!!!
