Pookie's Teeny Tiny Babies

Pookie was rescued through Feline Rescue's Outreach program. She safely gave birth to 1 gray and 3 black kittens in a foster home October 19. On October 21 a two day old, orange tabby kitten was dropped off at the Feline Rescue Adoption Center. The baby was cold, thin and weak so volunteers immediately tried warming and feeding the kitten. Within hours Pookie's foster caregiver, a teacher who fortunately had the day off, was able to pick up the orphan. Pookie took one look at the new baby and started cleaning and caring for him.
