I understand that the girls were very shy when they were returned to Feline Rescue, so whatever you did when they were living there cured them. I can't recall either of them having a shy moment as they immediately explored their new digs and settled right in. They both love to greet visitors and will show off to anyone that will pet or play with them. Frida stretches out in hopes that someone will pet her soft fur, and Etta lays flat on her back waiting for her belly rub; they almost always win a pet or rub.
They think they own this house and we are merely here to serve them (partially true). They are a very funny pair. If they think we aren't paying enough attention to them Etta will steal a page of paper and run off with it in her mouth, or Frida will jump into a lap and try to snuggle her nose into the crook of an arm.
You may recall that their former owner said they liked to chew cords. Well, actually Frida is quite the chewer, but it's a part of her personality we just need to deal with this problem. Currently we are trying "Bitter Yuck" to see if we can stop her from chewing up our leather footstool. I really hope it works. If you have any ideas to share, we will be more than glad to try anything you can recommend.
Great update! I am so happy they found someone who is loving and understands that "cord chewing" is not a reason to abandon them! Thank you Judy for giving them both a great home :)
