Fun with Fonzie

Fonzie is one of the most active and fun-loving cats at the Feline Rescue Adoption Center. Unfortunately, during visiting hours at the shelter, Fonzie is most likely to be napping in his kennel.

Don’t let this fool you. Once the other cats are away, the Fonz comes out to play! When Fonzie is out on the floor, the adoption center becomes his own personal sports complex. Fonzie likes to participate in all kinds of sports—especially soccer. There’s lots of power in those short, sturdy legs of his. And he’s always up for a game of catch (catch-that-fast-moving-feather, that is).

That’s right, Fonzie is a whirlwind of activity. He’s always willing to lend a hand with whatever needs to get done. Here he is helping some volunteers with a construction project:

He helps with laundry too. Here he is testing out some new beds to make sure they're soft enough for Feline Rescue's cats:

While Fonzie gets along fine with some cats, he has trouble getting along with ALL the cats here. That’s why he only comes out by himself or in a small group. But Fonzie gets along great with people! When his schedule allows, Fonzie even enjoys sitting in a lap to be petted. So if you really want to get to know Fonzie, talk to one of our adoption counselors about spending some time with him when he’s out and about.

To meet Fonzie, stop by the Feline Rescue Adoption Center or call 651-642-5900. ext. 3.
