Volunteer steps up to the plate to help mom feed ten babies

A stray mom with ten kittens was brought to Feline Rescue last week. Thankfully, an Adoption Center volunteer stepped up to take this family home.

This kitty is a good mom but can't keep up with feeding 10 babies, so Katherine lends a hand.  While they are nursing, Katherine bottle feeds each kitten supplemental KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer).

So they all end up with full tummies!

Katherine weighs each kitten every day. They are all gaining weight.

You can help too.  Volunteer to foster, be sure to get your pets spayed and neutered, and help make sure the cats in your community are spayed and neutered.

  3. Oh my goodness. My husband and I were visiting the day those kitties were brought in-- the tale of how they were discovered was absolutely horrible.

I'm so glad they're being taken care of!
