Blast from the Past, our Grand Opening

Exactly two years ago, on May 11-12, 2006, we celebrated the Grand Opening of our new shelter. Prior to our current location, we operated out of a small rented space. Buying and renovating our current shelter was a huge step forward for our little organization made up entirely by volunteers, and the Grand Opening was a chance for us to celebrate our success with our supporters and friends. The two-day event was very well attended, and fun was had by all.
